YES . I am insured. I have Workers Comp ,Public liababity Insurance ,          personal and sickness insurance.  I have  a Carpenter Contractor licence.   I have a Builders Licence.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I grew up in a farm in Ireland and was always doing stuff during the summer holidays and weekends. I really enjoy this type of life style.I just want to do more of my own projects.  I am not really an office person

It is always exciting for the clients when the walls go up and the roof goes on .It is at this point that first timers can see in front  of them the new house getting a life of its own

In Summer being out in the Sun. Great weather. I love seeing a job from scratch to completion. I am a big picture person who can see the job finished before we start which is good and exciting.I'm poor at the computer stuff

The customer should ask ,   show what work i have done and give addresses and photos of the job.Look for insurance, Names of people that can give  recommend  me that you have the right person for the job

Q1 How much to change some thing?     A      stick with you budget How long is it going to take?                A      What we agreed. I will always give myself a bit of spare time ,weather  and sub contractors can delay a project

Just ask people that i have done work for .Call me on the phone and i will answer it or get back to you shortly afterwards. I  was brought up to be a honest and trustworthy person

I will always answer the phone or call back asap.I work hard and don't hang around.We have a great work ethic.    I will call out and get a quote usually within 24 hrs. I have been in this industry since i was 17 years of age.It is what i love.  I am very easy to get on with and help the customer with the planning and costing for the job.   Our work is of a very high standard.This is why i am able to have done all my work in the best subarbs in Sydney

CLARITY  . The customer must be clear in what whey want. If they are in two minds early about something it might cost them a lot of money later to change it.   It is very important that i have a good feeling about the customer. This should be the same by the customer about me

Plan the project as best as you can in what you want Stick with the budget allowed for the job,otherwise maybe not enough to finish Sit down and see where cheaper material might work ok.think about energy rating,heating and cooling the house

I can work with the clients budget. The material can be  of many types.  E.G  Brick veneer is cheaper than double brick and  have a better Energy Rating,but more expensive.We give great value and service for what the client pays for ,

I mostly price Roofing, Extensions and smaller works. Some things are hard to price if i am renovating  this is where it might have to be done on an hourly rate.

I specialize in 2nd story Additions , Attic conversions and Renovations.Ihave come from a carpentry background and this is easy and what i love most,We can do most of the work ourselves and only need plumbers, Electricitions etc.

I have  15 years in 2nd story Additions, and Attic conversions. I am a joiner first which when i worked in the workshop making fine material e.g doors, windows, millimeters counted. The workmanship had to be a very high standard  Then when being a carpenter as well gave me great knowledge with Roofing and hanging doors,timber floors,decks etc When i got the Builders licence i learned project managment and site costings and planning
