We had a challenging move, firstly because we were downsizing so had a lot of stuff and could not do any donations to charity because Vinnies etc were closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. Secondly because of various factors out of our control we were not able to have our new tenancy confirmed till just before we moved. Brendan was super-understanding about our having as a result to change the date and time of our move, always courteous and willing to adjust from the previously scheduled day to a couple of days later. He and Adam were a bit late arriving on the day but because we had made the timing so challenging for him we completely understood. We took Brendan's advice to go with an hourly rate, not a fixed quote, and because he and Adam worked harder, more carefully, and in a more focused way than most other removalists I have seen over many years and quite a few moves, the cost of the move was more than reasonable.
