I have been a long-time gym goer, athlete and personal trainer, however, I would find myself on a cycle of injuries that my physio could not get to the bottom of. I was suffering from a left shoulder injury and had some serious muscle imbalances. My mobility was so poor I could barely squat or press above my head and had to give up playing competitive basketball as my body could no longer handle the intense training and games.
