I had sent Rachel some photos of the hair and make up I was after with pinterest photos. She said she was fully capable of doing both. After she arrived, she did my make up with the classic look and it was so harshly lined that I agreed to do the smokey look which is usually a blended look with dark at the base and light on the top blended in (as per the photos given) but when completed it was a lot of dark lines all over the lids. Very animated and drawn in like a geisha, drag or clown. I told her I hated it, so she wiped the lines off the top of the lid and redid them lower down. After 2 hours I said it was good enough, paid her and sent her home. I tried to like it but I was going to my brother's wedding. I had it fixed in the salon down the road where they cleaned up the dark shadows under my eyes, brightened my face, lifted my eyes & I looked polished, blended and smokey with a touch of professional glossiness. I'd hire her for hair again though.
