I found Parker Cleaning to be very efficient with my 'end of lease' and carpet steam clean. I was happy that I was provided with a quote upfront, as well as with a listing of what was included in the clean. Parker Cleaning replied promptly to any text messages, and they were able to come and clean my place at relatively short notice. I had a few extra things that had to be cleaned (blinds and balcony) - I knew these would be extra and was quoted an amount which I thought was reasonable (at this point the quote was more expensive than another provider, but not significantly so). I was a little bit taken aback that the day after I had confirmed I would use their service I received a text informing me the blinds might cost more, and I was given a revised range quote ($40 between high and low point). It would have been good if this could have been clarified before I agreed to use this provider. The ladies who came to clean were friendly and polite. Rather than being late, they arrived 45mins early (I was received a phone call warning me of this though). The ladies' spoken English was poor so there was a bit of difficulty communicating. I was told upon arrival that the higher end of the quote would be charged, without checking the state of the blinds or the balcony. The ladies also finished 1hr earlier than they had predicted after I left them at the property. When I came back I thought the clean was not as thorough as I would have liked at first. E.g., few cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, water in the laundry sink from where the mop bucket had been emptied, and the inside of the front door frame still had dust and dirt. However looking again at the service list, door frames etc were not included. I was also able to have a receipt emailed to me after the cleaning service was performed. Overall everything worked out satisfactorily and I'm happy with the service.

Job Description: The cleaner must be experienced and can undertake tasks that I require on the day. They must have attention to detail and have initiative & good communication skills. they must be able to tackle the home with confidence and know what to clean and how. I would like a call from the cleaner before making a decision. The first clean will require the 3 glass balcony doors to be cleaned which is a simple task if the cleaner is experienced and has tools to clean glass quickly & efficiently. I would also like the oven cleaned which is not in a bad state but needs a clean. I have been away for many months hence my apartment needing some extra cleaning attention. However, ongoing it is a very simple job to upkeep as I am extremely clean and live without pets or children and wear no shoes inside. I am looking for an ongoing cleaner who I can rely on long term and who takes pride in their work. I can be flexible with days and times but prefer cleans to be done after 12pm. I look forward to hearing from you.
