  Max did a first class job of replacing tiles, waterproof and grouting as well as sealing 2 bathroom floors at our place. He was always on time and very good with communicating everything about job. Very happy with his work and would highly recommend him.

  I hired Max to re-tile my ensuite and sadly he made a complete mess of it. The finishing is rough. Tiles are crooked, some are chipped, and many are out of alignment. He failed to caulk along the floor. He failed to square a wall, hence the vanity cannot be installed. Water is flowing back towards the shower door and pooling instead of the trap. Grouting is in chunks in some areas, whilst scarce in others. He also used a brand new air conditioner unit as his workbench, scratching it and covering the compressor in thick dust - I now have to have it dismantled and cleaned before it ceases up. I’m utterly shocked. I have contacted Max over a two week period to give him the opportunity to rectify it, however, after apologising once, he failed to respond in a meaningful way and has ignored my messages. I have had no option but to get quotes to fix the mess he left me with, and it’s going to cost thousands. The job looks like it was done by an amateur, I have been told by other tilers, who have also been left shocked. Hence, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this tiler. It feels as though my home has been vandalised. My disappointment is complete.
