Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

All employees of Sydney Extension & renovation and all subcontractors involved with us are fully insured to undertake the work at hand. Our public liability covers for $20 000 000, exceeding all council public liability requirements. All staff are Covered under workers comp and/or personal accident insurance. Also have Home Warranty, vehicle, plant/tool coverage so everyone can sleep at ease at night :) Certificate of currency for all insurances are available upon request.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Personal goal of buying and building a home for my mother so she can live many years to come with comfort and ease. This contribution and the constant growth involved in running a construction company is major contributors of a happy career.

We are passionate in all our business dealings. The ultimate satisfaction is hand over day, when the client is there with their family and they are ecstatic about their new home. Makes it all worth while.

For every project, there are difference pre requisite questions which need to be confirmed on the initial complimentary site visit. For example if you are intending to build an extension. First questions is usually "Do you have approval to build?" Understandably the client is usually not experienced in the processes involved in adding an extension and presume the first point of contact is to call a builder. How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Start prowling the aisles at the hardware store way before the wrecking crew shows up. Get a good feel for what you want in fixtures and appliances and what they cost. Doing as much work before the construction as you can, means you have time to shop around for the best deals and are not rushed during the build. Other ways you can save money is by using energy efficient fixtures (lighting and plumbing). This can have a dramatic difference in your power bills once the renovation is complete

How do you normally charge for your service?

This really depends on the project at hand. We sign a contract for all our works, be it a $1500 job to a $150000. Our contracts are provided by HIA, industry professionals in all thing residential. For bigger projects we offer itemised quote with lump sum contract and for smaller projects we work around your circumstances and offer you a great deal.

Being a residential builder, our services cover a vast range of area. A typical home extension utilises the services and expertise of many exceptional trades. With our vast experience in this field, we can cater to all residential work. Saying this we have had above average exposure in granting council approvals for clients, Carport construction, addic space conversions, bathroom and kitchens.
