How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I grew up as a competitive speed skater, represented Australia in 1990 and came 5th in the World, did boxing and martial arts, bodybuilding and played all sorts of sports growing up. I just had a knack for all things sports and I also have always loved being able to positively influence people...

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

My most favourite customer story is when I lost my client over 120kgs. She started it out at 225kgs and ultimately go to under 100kgs. It was incredibly satisfying being able to change someone's life like that. It was not an easy journey, there were both good and bad times...lots of laughs and a few tears...but in the end it was all worth it. I don't personally do a lot of PT now as a manage a team of 12 trainers.   But just this Christmas one of my trainers was given a gift of $100 cash by his client who just really appreciated him and wanted to thank him for the great job he was doing..and he rang me up all confused as to whether he should accept it or not...lol. One thing I'll say about my team...is that they are genuinely good and caring people!

What do you like most about your job?

We love it when a client tells us how much we've changed their lives. There is something special about being in an industry and profession that not only directly affects somebody's life, but can also positively influence the people around them. It's a job that does not feel like a job!

How much do you charge?  $45-$55 per 30min PT Session - but your actual workout time is closer to 45mins-1hour when you include your warm up and post-cardio program. Do you come to our Homes or Parks Close by our Home? Yes, we have trainers who do Mobile Personal Training.  Do you look after nutrition and do eating plans? Yes - we conduct full nutrition sessions as well as weekly food journal analysis and recommendations How many Trainers do you have? We have a team of 12 friendly and experienced trainers Do you create tailored exercise programs as home work? Yes - individualised programs for your exact goal Are you only One on One or do you do Groups? We are One on One Private Personal Training and One on Two Semi-Private (Team up) Training only...we do not do groups. Do you take measurements and do weigh-ins? Yes, we do full fitness assessments which include measurements, weigh-ins and fitness testing to see exactly where you're at and track where you want to go Do you offer support outside the 30min Session? Yes, we offer 24 hour Email and SMS support. Many of our clients send us photos of their food, sample diets, exercise routines...so we can critique and adjust. Is it a Gym? No, it's a One on One Personal Training Studio - No Groups, No Hero's, Non-Intimidating...and it's by appointment  How long are your Programs? We have a 18week, 36week and 52week programs...any shorter than 18 weeks and we cannot guarantee long-term solid lifestyle habits. Do you have "Locked-In Contracts"? No, we have agreements which are not locked-in. We do ask that if you decide to stop training with us that you give us notice. Just so the trainers can re-fill their vacant timeslots What results are we likely to see? Exceptional results because that's exactly what we specialise in

We LISTEN! and are very supportive of your needs and goals. We design programs with YOU in mind. Some like high impact/boot camp exercises, others have injuries and need Yoga and Pilates type exercises, others like boxing and kickboxing which some find too violent....etc. Then there is the matching of trainer to client personality...we try and match each client with the right trainer.  We have a proven track record of over 200+ dramatic body transformations and success stories. Our prices are super competitive compared to our direct competitors in the private one on one studio model. Our trainers are super friendly and extremely flexible and we open Mon-Fri between 5am-10pm & Weekends 8am-4pm.  We also come to you! Our trainers can travel to your home or park close to your home to train you at a more convenient location if travel is an issue.  We are a complete solution offering nutrition advice & meal planning, exercise programming, ongoing accountability/motivation and EXCELLENT RESULTS!. We also work with a physio, who is actually one of our clients, who offer free postural evaluations and who gives us insight to any existing injuries or postural deficiencies.   I've been in the industry for over 25 years, and have represented Australia as a competitive speed skater at World Championship Level. Written a book and been featured on Foxtel. We've won the local business awards 2 times in the last 3 years and been finalist the other year.  Our facility is non-intimidating and everybody is really friendly and welcoming.

We offer a free one hour consultation plus a free session to make sure that we are a good fit for them.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

For Oneflare customers, we like to offer 35% off your joining fee and 15% off each personal training session. Any less and we would not be able to pay our experienced trainers what they are worth. We are already extremely competitively priced within our niche market.

What makes your pricing competitive?

When you compare us to our direct competitors which are boutique-style one on one personal training studios - (Not Commercial Gyms or Group Personal Training Facilities) who charge between $55-$65 for 30min Sessions we charge considerably less. Which puts us on par with a Commercial Gym PT Rates. We ask our clients to come early and do their own warm up for 10mins prior to the 30min session then after they finish their PT session they need to complete their post-cardio intervals or program for another 15-20mins which means their entire training time is closer to an hour...but we only charge for the actual 30min PT session. We've seen trainers in other gyms who watch their clients on treadmills...we believe this is a waste of the clients money.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We normally use a safe weekly direct debit. But we also accept cash pack payments. Both are tracked diligently and legitimise the business. We are not like a gym who can sometimes take your money, even if you don't come in. We are flexible in terms of payments, we make up sessions that you miss & we freeze accounts on demand etc.

We Specialise in Weight Loss, Toning & Fitness for both Men & Women. As well as kids one on one programs. We aim to do this through fun, motivating and challenging workouts specifically designed and tailored to each individual client. Personalisation & Expert Instruction is the key to getting the best possible results.
