We wish to highly recommend Alan and Harry of Alan Tiling. They are highly professional tradesmen who take pride in their work, are polite, respectful, punctual and really strive to help their customers. Alan and Harry recently tiled the kitchen and bathroom in our unit in Burwood, NSW, which we are hoping to sell. Their advice about tile selection was of great benefit in achieving a truly excellent result. That, and their attention to detail, and desire to make sure that the tiles and grout would last for years. These two stood head and shoulders above all other trades hired by us in their level of skill, and refusal to take short cuts, and even helped rectify issues left by other tradespeople to make our job the best possible. For example, this morning Alan helped to straighten a slightly crooked range hood to make sure the top of the splashback was perfectly straight, and even more impressively, Alan took out and replaced one of his beautifully laid bathroom 600 x 300 mm tiles due to a plumbing mistake (free of charge!). We were also really impressed that Alan returned to do the splashback after less than 24 hours notice, which means we can move on quickly with our renovation. If we write any more you will not believe us, but we will just add that Alan is partial to banana bread and English Breakfast tea with three sugars and Harry, the quiet achiever, likes a flat white with two.
