The retaining walls are original timber structures that now show visible signs of wear, with some sections failing. The request is for a costed proposal to replace these with new timber retaining walls of similar dimensions and materials. Scope of Works 1. Back Retaining Wall Approx. 5.6m in size. Full demolition and disposal of the existing timber wall. Supply and install new timber retaining wall, matching existing height and style. Install appropriate drainage: Geo fabric 100mm ag drain 40mm drainage rock 2. Side Retaining Wall Approx. 11.2m in size. Full demolition and disposal of existing timber wall. Supply and install new timber retaining wall, like-for-like. Include drainage as above. 3. Site Access and Enabling Works Temporary removal and reinstatement of approx. 19m of timber fencing to allow equipment access. Construction of access ramp, if needed. Removal of all soil and debris from site. Access Considerations Please note that Unit 48 is situated on the high side of the retaining walls, and direct access to the side wall (shared with Units 47 and 44) is not available from our clients lot. Accordingly: Access for demolition and reconstruction will likely need to be arranged via the yards of Units 47 and/or 44. This will likely require temporary removal of their fences, which should be included as a provisional cost item in your quote. Please specify any assumptions or requirements you may have regarding site access or cooperation from neighbouring units.
