Generally, water penetration causes the concrete reinforcement to rust and expand, creating stresses on the surrounding concrete and in turn causing it to spall (or break away). The cause of the concrete cancer and subsequent corrosion should be addressed along with repair and patching of the effected stumps and replacement of some stumps with more advanced corrosion is required. Location: Keperra, QLDJob Description: I have fairly small concreting job that might be a bit of a pain in the behind. It is probably easer to see on site than to explain. There is a small dog sized gap between the bottom of the front gate and the concrete path. The path slopes down toward the gate so the gap is required so the gate can open (inwards). What I think I need is to remove a section of the path then re-concrete with the new and now horizontal section of path providing a LOT less clearance under the gate. Location: Keperra, QLDJob Description: Because my otherwise good hearing aids do not get along well with telephones I prefer all communication to be by OneFlare messages At present we have an old concreted driveway which is just two concrete wheel tracks from the roadway to the garage. These are quite old, cracked and a bit sunken in places. It is about 9.00 metres from the roadway to the garage and I imagine a 2.50-meter-wide driveway with a bit of an added apron toward the road surface. One side of the driveway abuts a paved area and we need to keep that (the pavers) in place. I am not supplying photographs because I have had bad experiences with experts pretending to quote from my photographs, this has not been on not concreting jobs. We need one total price for removing and disposing of the existing concrete and for supply and laying the new driveway. We are looking for a plain non-slip concrete finish (no exposed aggregate, colour just plain non-slip finish concrete).Service needed: Demolition and removal of existing driveway & replaced with new concrete. | Size of the concreting area: 15 - 50 sqm | When: Any time that works
