We had a deeply disappointing experience with Ricies Concrete. He gave us a very low price verbal quote for a front and side yard concrete job and started work the next day without providing a written contract. He worked for two partial days (Sunday and Monday public holiday, finished at lunch time) without completing any actual tasks, then requested $2,000 upfront, which we paid (should not have). After that, they disappeared for several days with minimal communication, claiming he was sick. We lost nearly a week with no progress. When we asked for a proper contract, he said he only deals in cash and implied he couldn’t send or receive money via bank transfer — possibly due to personal or legal issues, which he vaguely referenced. This raised serious concerns about the legitimacy of his business. Ricies Concrete's delays and lack of professionalism caused a major disruption to our overall project timeline. In the end, we lost nearly $2,000, a week of valuable time, and our trust. When we asked him to collect his machinery and return our money, he refused and stopped responding altogether.15 Oct 2025
hello Ellie, we both know your telling some serious lies here, you only wanted to pay cash, and I did two days work including augering holes with my 1.7 t digger, hand digging the footings for the retaining wall at the side of your property and concrete demo sawing sections of tbe concrete. Also steelfixing for the foundations of the wall. The 2000 barely covered that. I have done all my jobs by the books and have the paperwork to prove it also you could call my accountant.Sk A
