A huge thank you to Debra for being the perfect celebrant for our wedding on April 18th, 2015 on Dromana beach. We didn’t want the most formal and polished ceremony – what we wanted was a relaxed celebration of our love, in front of our friends and family. Debra took all our comments and requests into consideration and as a result, gave us the ceremony we had always dreamed of. Throughout the process she was always available, helpful, knowledgeable and well organised. Even the extra challenge of having to organise everything through Skype and email and only meeting us a week before the wedding didn’t faze her. A big thanks for the extra research she did to make sure our wedding went off without any hitches (due to the two of us coming from different countries), and for her down-to-earth nature and humour throughout. Geraldene was extremely efficient and proactive with the administrative side of getting married which is a huge weight of one's shoulders. Her communication is prompt and relevant. She also sent us a draft of a ceremony for us to edit as we wished. Her draft was beautiful and reflected how we felt about marriage and our journey together. We ended up keeping most of it and added our own personalised bits too. She is non-judgemental, professional and discreet. Anything that a couple wants, she will do as the wedding is about the couple getting married and not the celebrant's idea/concept of a wedding. Geraldene was also able to project her voice effectively during the ceremony which was held in a wide open outdoor space without any microphones.
