Job Description: Structerre company = usually takes 10 to 15 days the quote would be anything between $1200 to $1600 + GST Brick engineers = Website states that reports can be done within 24 hours, admin is sending information through to their manager and will receive a quote once they can He isn't unsure about the amount but thinks it may be between $660 or $700 +GST Building specialists they don't believe that they will be able to send inspect and send a report by Thursday but he will look into it and their pricing is $ 650 +gst Guy on the phone was also very rude and disinterested sorry probably not a good option B waddelle: Unable to provide a quote within the time frame. Hi, I am writing to you today to urgently request a professional Report regarding an insurance dispute we have, additionally wanting a quote for replacement of fascia eaves downpipes and electrical repairs on one side of the property Our patio collapsed on March 13th, 2025, during a severe storm that affected not only us but many other people/properties. Despite providing extensive evidence to our insurance company, including weather reports, photos, and video footage (links within the file attached) our insurance company has since rejected our claim, stating there was no storm and the insurance company's report mentioned rust at the base of the patio posts were the cause of the downfall, however, the section of the patio that failed was the connection point to the main roof, not the posts and that the post in question was still structurally sound and ultimately still holding the patio up from that end. (images available) The report received from the external company hired through the insurance company also states that although there was rust at the base of the posts on the patio the conclusion of the collapse was in fact due to the storm on that day, (documentation available). We have taken our case to the ombudsman, and they have also requested a detailed explanation as to why the patio was compromised while the main roof of the house was not. This is a time-sensitive matter, and we must submit our documentation by Friday 4th Sep latest, however we would prefer to receive this report Thursday 4th Sep, just to be sure we can get it to them in time. Please note that due to the period of time that it has been since the incident occurred the patio has been completely removed approximately 5 months ago, so unfortunately you would not be able to review the patio itself which may limit the on-site assessment but only go from the previous report's/documentation and images clearly showing that the post's were still intact and holding upright. We specifically need your expert assessment and a professional report outlining the cause of the collapse and the reasoning behind the specific structural differences between the patio and the property roof of your expert opinion as to why one was damaged and not the other. Along with a quotation of what it would be to repair the gutters, eaves, fascia downpipes, patio (and electrical if possible) We are also wondering if you are able to provide a quote for this report and able to do it within a time frame required. This would be invaluable in helping us get our claim approval. I really hope that you are able to assist us with this matter, I am able to send through all documentation you will need including reports, images, footage and supporting evidence and more via email upon request. If there is any other information that you need in order to provide us a report please don't hesitate to reach out and call me any time of day/night. My details are also listed below and we will get that to you the best we can. Thank you for your time and urgent consideration. Warm regards Casey Chandler
