Job Description: Repair work required in my garage. The ceiling has sustained significant damage, causing a partial collapse that has also damaged the roller garage door. My insurance company has identified the root cause as related roof issues and has outlined the necessary repairs, excluding roof maintenance. I kindly request a detailed quotation for the following scope of work, as per the insurance companys assessment: 1. Ceiling Plasterboard Replacement: Remove and replace the damaged plasterboard. This includes the installation, fixing, setting, and sanding of 10mm plasterboard across approximately 10 square meters, with preparation for re-sheeting. 2. Ceiling and Cornice Restoration: Patch, sand, seal, prepare, and paint the affected plaster ceiling and cornice to closely match the existing finish. The total area for this work is approximately 37 square meters. 3. Roller Garage Door Replacement: Remove the existing door and supply and install a standard single roller door. Material preference is Colorbond or Zincalume, with dimensions up to 2300mm in height and 2500mm in width. 4. Cornice Replacement: Remove and replace the existing cornice with a 90mm cove design. This includes setting, sanding, and sealing, ready for painting. The total length of cornice to be replaced is approximately 12 linear meters. 5. Debris Removal and Site Cleanup: Ensure complete removal and disposal of all debris associated with the repair works, leaving the site in a clean and tidy condition. 6.
