Solid Spirit Furniture

Solid Spirit originated in 2001. Solid Spirit was first established when the people forming the company saw increasing demand for Australian made furniture crafted from solid Australian timbers, at a time when there was increasing dependancy on mass produced foreign made furniture. It was seen Australians had become increasingly interested in where timber originated from, how it had been kiln dried for longevity, if habitats, plant and animal species and whole human communities were wiped out as a result of destructive overseas slash and burn forestry practices. Solid Spirit set out to craft a range of furniture using Solid Australian Timbers certified by the Tasmanian Forestry commission and other forestry bodies where ever possible.
