  Schultz Gardens have been providing lawn and garden maintenance services at my jointly owned property in Melbourne for nearly 5 years now. Their service has always been first class and reasonably priced. They also go the extra yard by keeping me regularly updated via email on the condition of the property, since I live interstate and only recently had the chance to visit in person. • How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  When I was 12 years old, I started a gardening round on weekends and holidays. I pushed my wheelbarrow full of tools to clients in South Camberwell and Glen Iris. I don't know why I have always loved gardening. It's just something that has run in my veins. I was thrilled, as a mature aged student, to fulfill my dream and graduate from Burnley College, Melbourne University.

• Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

  I love all of my clients of course. My favourite client story has to be that of Michael, who's 100% faith and trust in my ideas brought about the transformation of a garden in despair to a showpiece adding immense to his property's value.
