How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I grew up surrounded by garden lovers, from my grandparents roses and camelia's and my mum, I probably didn't have a chance, after school I studied Mechanical Engineering but took a job for a premier landscape company scaping display homes to make some spare money.

What do you like most about your job?

I like our ability to turn a sandy empty backyard into an area perfect for the client. Seeing it evolve from the consultation to designs and watching the design come together as it comes out of the ground.

Ask who will be actually completing the work. A company who states they have 30 years experience is great but when the guys doing the work are inexperienced and unsupervised, the boss's experience means nothing.

Do you do brick paving? Yes we do, we currently hold contracts for some of WA's top residential builders. Do you do the design? Yes we do, we use the latest CAD programs (landworks) and can do full 3D renderings if needed aswell. Do you do sculptures? Yes we build Corten sculptures and screens.

We have been in the industry for along time and seen a lot of changes and a lot of people come and go. We Landscape because we have a passion for it, and treat every job as if it was our own.

We have been in the industry since 1993, offering creative, quality designs and construction. We offer years of experience and carry out the project from initial consultation through to construction and even maintenance. All work is carried out by our skilled staff.

Most importantly, We need to know your budget, the budget will put us on the same wavelength before we draw up a concept plan. also what style of garden you would like, eg tropical, formal, native etc.

Before starting the project, the site should be clear of weeds and rubble, and relatively level, this will save you money in siteworks. Also if you can have a site plan drawn up with measurements ready for the consultation.

All of our work is completed by our team. Often times using sub-contractors can result in budget blow-outs and lack of quality work. By doing it ourselves we maintain our excellent quality and stay on budget.

We have been in the Landscape industry since 1993. We have completed landscapes for large commercial projects, Builders display homes and government projects. We currently design for other landscapers and for clients that wish to DIY. We hold builders contracts for several new homes Brick paving.
