• What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

  "I was very lucky indeed last years when Lachlan Ryan agreed to build our carport, pergola and shed. Sounds like an easy job but when you are working on a beautiful Edwardian home it’s really important that all the finishes work well and fit into the existing building. I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the work – it was extremely well finished and quite frankly I struggle to remember what the house looked like before the work. Lachlan Ryan converted the architects plans into reality and did a wonderful job. Everyone in my street is still talking about the workmanship and work ethic. The job was finished on time, in budget and I trusted him so much most of the work was done while we were away. I really can’t recommend Lachlan Ryan highly enough –he is everything you want in a builder.   With an architect father, a builder and developer uncle and an education that encouraged creativity at Melbourne Rudolf Steiner School, Ryan had a strong foundation, learning much of his trade via a hands-on “old school” apprenticeship. This early exposure to a varied building portfolio, featuring complex and original architecture, gave Ryan an eye for both detail and design – his works are both aesthetically pleasing and well crafted.
