2 years ago we worked on a renovation to an heritage Victorian terrace in Clifton Hill. Built in the 1880’s for the Kimpton flour milling family, the residence has been home since the 1960’s to the late Mars McMillan, a remarkable and gifted artist who pioneered the craft of harpsichord making in Melbourne. Artistry and craftsmanship had a long and rich history with this house. Against many odds and not without many coincidences, it is now the home of our client, a baker. Coincidently, it was also discovered that it was the home of my client's boyfriend during their university years.

We seek to improve the built world, one design at a time. We marvel at the many impressive structures built by man over thousands of years - before they were constructed, they began as an idea in someone's head. We're delighted to be part of this process.

How long does a project take? It really varies, depending on scope and complexity, we advise on a project-specific basis. What architectural software do you use? We use an array of software to deliver drawings a 3d images. We use Revit for modelling and documentation.

Understand your project (brief, budget, program). Speak with Council and Authorities to learn any constraints to your proposed project. Consider what skills you have to contribute to the project if you wish to reduce cost of professional fees.

We offer fixed fee or percentage based fee structures. Typically, for projects where the brief and scope of works are well defined, we offer clients a fixed fee to assist clients in managing and controlling their project budget.
