  Do not use this company. They completely destroyed my aunts fruits trees that are 14 years old and refuse to do anything about it. They blame everything under the sun rather than taking responsibility for what they’ve done and being completely ill equipped for the job (not surprised we’ve seen similar reviews like this listed here). We’ve had to ask a horticulturalist his opinion and he said ‘whoever did this had no idea what they were doing’ that’s reason enough. Avoid Nomadic Gardens

  Joe and Alan did an amazing job of pruning our murrayas over two levels of retaining walls and removing dying shrubs from our kerb. Left everything clean and tidy. Will get them back to plant some lawn and other gardening work. Great value and easy to work with. Then had Patrick and Henry doing a great job levelling the garden bed along the street, laying turf and integrating into our irrigation, working through a number of issues and solving all the problems. Thanks team.

  UPDATE: Nomadic have now sent me a cease & desist letter and asked that I publicly retract my statement that they illegally record phone calls. Based on the business' response below, they apparently do ask for permission to record phone calls. I'm happy to retract my statement that they illegally record calls if this isn't the case. My review about Nomadic's processes in dealing with their customers, including the quote process where I requested ONE revision to ONE quote, stands. I don't agree $180 is a "nominal" charge. I do not recommend them, based on my true, personal experience, in the strongest possible terms. I have already submitted a formal report to Consumer and Business Services and ACCC. I have now completed the works originally quoted by Nomadic using "Instant Lawns". They were absolutely fantastic to deal with. Instant Lawns allowed fee free revisions to the original quote, even after the works had started - the revisions were actually recommended by them! Even though the revision resulted in a reduction in overall price. Nothing was too much trouble for the team at Instant Lawns and I'm so pleased to have engaged them to have done the work.

  This situation reflects a classic case of a client requesting multiple quotes with no intention of moving forward with the actual works. After multiple changes, we clearly informed the client that additional quote revisions would incur a fee, but this amount would be fully deducted from the final invoice of any paid works. This policy was clearly communicated to her during a recorded phone conversation, which is a standard practice we use to ensure transparency and protect both parties, and is mentioned to all clients on a pre-recorded voice message. The recording, which the client now objects to, confirms that we advised her of the charge before she agreed to the additional quote, as well as the fact that certain costs would remain consistent due to required equipment and bin hire. As we offer one free quote per project to every client, any subsequent revisions come with a nominal charge, ensuring we can provide high-quality service and keep our business sustainable. Unfortunately, in our experience, some individuals try to take advantage of this goodwill, which is why we have clear policies in place to protect our staff, contractors, and business. While the client has chosen to post an inaccurate account online, we invite her to submit a formal complaint with Consumer and Business Services or the ACCC. We are confident that these agencies can provide her with a clear understanding of the legal process when entering a contractual agreement and the obligations that come with it. This protects all parties involved, ensuring fair treatment and adherence to agreed-upon terms. We stand by the integrity of our processes and our commitment to delivering high-quality service.

  Matt did a great job for me, removing huge trees and stumps, and cleaned the yard up. Super friendly and efficient. I did have a previous issue with the Admin not communicating change of date for the service (she emailed instead of called, email went to Spam folder). Though this was resolved quickly by Admin and did not reflect on the professional workmanship from the workmen.

  Ideas are great, communication (to customers and between the team) and customer service need significant improvement. A lot of ‘good will’ or nice talk in person but they don’t pan out in the end. Installed garden lights for us that don’t work and told us to contact the manufacturers directly, installed sprinklers that flood the new lawn and told us it’s because of our dogs. 2 other landscaping companies have come and had a look and informed us that the lawn floods because not enough soil was added on one side so water pools there so here we go forking more money out to fix the mistake. Refuse to take accountability and just get defensive when issues are brought up. Post installation with maintenance that we paid for staff show up to do one thing when we were told something else will be happening, almost like person booking the appointment and people showing up to do the work don’t talk. Lovely work for the flower beds but such a disappointment with how a lot of things were handled and mis managed.
