How did you decide to get into your line of work?

It was an obvious choice for myself as i have come from a long family line of draftsman, engineers and architects. I just love it and will always be in the industry in some way shape or form.

The reason i became a draftsman was that i had a gift for detail and an eye for style and presentation. I really like to take something that is looking old and run down looking and make new.

A customer should ask for examples of work and our some previous customers, and be weary of drafting office's that quote low and promise the world. Customer's need to remember that you generally get what you pay for.

most of our customers want a quote over the phone, and where it might be convenient for customer its very hard t quote a drafting job over the phone. We need to see and email with clear intent or sit down to discuss.

We are well established in the drafting industry, and have customers all over Sydney and Australia. We win most of our work through word of mouth because we provide real results and incredible value.

Customers can save money and time by having there LOT and DP numbers ready and any existing plans of their house and or site plans of area they are planning to develop.

We are always checking industry leaders and have a good feel on what is commercially acceptable and for what price. We have many contacts in drafting community and have a general feel for what is good and fair.

At CCD Drafting we usually provide a fixed price quotation to do the whole job, so there are no hiddne cost's. We can also work on a hourly rate or cost-plus arrangement. We are very flexible, what ever the customer prefers.
