  Outstanding Builder – Highly Recommended We recently completed a knockdown rebuild of a double-storey terrace in Marrickville with Benson Building, led by Anthony, and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. This was a complex project from the outset, involving boundary fire walls, a hybrid garage/living space, and a highly customized insulated garage door imported from Germany, which featured an integrated wicket door for pedestrian and vehicle access. Add to this the logistical challenges: tight site access via a shared rear laneway used by six residences, close proximity to adjoining properties, and a high level of coordination required across trades and approvals. Anthony navigated these challenges with professionalism, patience, and an unwavering commitment to quality and neighbourly respect. From the beginning, he kept all affected parties informed through a shared group, carefully coordinating deliveries and trades to minimize disruptions. His proactive communication was appreciated not just by us but by our neighbours as well. Midway through construction, a neighbour raised a concern about the design's potential impact on their garage access. Anthony immediately paused work, engaged the necessary professionals, and facilitated a DA amendment to resolve the issue. His responsiveness and ability to bring together the architect, engineer, certifier, council, and neighbour ensured a quick, positive outcome with minimal delays to the overall schedule. Throughout the build, Anthony showed integrity, passion, and a deep understanding of construction and project management. His attention to detail and ability to manage complex custom elements without compromising on quality were evident from start to finish. We highly recommend Anthony and the team at Benson Building to anyone seeking a reliable, honest, and skilled builder who genuinely cares about the outcome and the people involved.   It’s hard to find a contractor that will take on smaller renovation projects, but Anthony and his team absolutely came through for me. We wanted to replace the countertop, sink, and splashback in our kitchen, as well as some wardrobe doors that he had to design from scratch. Not only did he manage to stick to our budget, but he went above and beyond to make sure the finishes looked perfect, and the quality of his work is outstanding. I’ll definitely be turning to him for our next project, highly recommended.

  Anthony from Benson Building did a phenomenal job on our home. Was honest, diligent and came up with some great ideas and suggestions for us to achieve the outcome we wanted.
