How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I was always going to be a plasterer. My Father, Mark Billerwell started B&S plastering in 1973. I took over the reigns in 1993 & my Brother Scott joined the team in 1998

I love working with my hands, I enjoy standing back & looking something that our team has built. I enjoy seeing the the face of a happy customer. As I always say-If you're spending 40 hours a week doing something- You'd better love it, or move on!

For peace of mind on any job you should really ask if the business is insured. Ask the tradesperson if they are experienced to do the works that you require.

Have a good idea of what you want. Are there any time restrictions for access? Will you be claiming works on insurance?

Good ways to save. 1. If you are able, move furnishings or clear the work area. 2. Do some of the demolition works that you are confident with. 3. Do not try to do the plastering yourself! Too many times we have had to demolish attempted plastering :)

I don't think that we are either the cheapest or the most expensive. We offer a quality service for a fair price. The benefits of a premium job for a fair price will always beat saving a few dollars for a cheap bad job.

We will quote for a job as a lump sum amount inclusive of GST. There will be no hidden costs, such as Tip fees.

Our team has been servicing the ACT region for over 40 years. We are all career plasterers. We have worked in many prestigious & heritage buildings in the ACT including: Parliament House, Old Parliament House, The Lodge, The War Memorial, The National Library, The National Art Gallery.
