Location: South Morang, VICJob Description: hello my name is Tiffy I'm totally blind hearing-impaired and this is the third time today I've tried to get a quote from a Gardner who can help me with my combined backyard outside my one bedroom apartment at unit 3 3 vangelica way South Morang VIC 3752 I've lived here for five years and I had a Gardner Joe who was previously recommended by lawn enforcement in 2022 and Joe was absolutely spot on with his work, he cleared all the foliage right up to the fenceline so that it would only take 12 months to grow and therefore I wouldn't have to get it cut back every month because I'm on a disability support blind pension and this foliage unfortunately right now is quite dangerous where it is and because I live on my own I've got no one to help me clear it and take it away so I'm asking for someone's help! The reason I chose 19 November is because that is when I can pay someone to help me as 22nd of October I need to put a bit into my electricity account, and 5 November I have an appointment with 1800 got junk so they can remove items from outside as well as inside and I can't afford both you and them at the same time so that is why I did it for next month so that I can get enough quotes I hope and hopefully someone will agree to inspect it if that's what they want to do, because a business Who contacted me after the first job request on oneflair was going to help me, but there were a lot of excuses as to why they couldn't, I'm stressed as hell, I now have a massive migraine, and when I contacted lawn enforcement Who previously helped me in 2022 to see if they could help me again, they discriminated against me because they refused to talk to me because I'm totally blind and I live on my own, they also refused to help me because I'm not on the NDIS any more and I don't want to be, and to add salt to the wound they particularly refused to help me because I'm totally blind and I can't take photos of the area that is needed! I don't know what the measurements of this combined yard are and I don't know if the default measurements that the app wanted me to put is what my yard is or if it's bigger than the smallest default it would let me put, because with some jobs it says not sure but with gardening it doesn't so I apologise if it looks confusing! I need a quote within seven days or a few of them if possible, I need someone who I can understand when they talk to me as I'm hearing impaired, and I can pay you privately providing it's pay ID is that is easier for me, but as I said I will need all that foliage pulled out right up to the fence line and when you pull the roots out it will take longer to grow back like my former Gardner used to do for me! I'm sorry if I can't explain in writing exactly how my Gardner used to do it, but if you need to inspect the site so you can see what I mean then I can show you how he used to do it or at least point vaguely where he used to pull it out from! I also need cobwebs cleared from the gate, the Front and back door, where my bedroom window is, the Aircon unit and I'm talking outside, but I can't get to some of these places because my vacuum cleaner won't reach as I don't have an external PowerPoint yet so that's why it's harder for me to get them! Again I'm sorry if I'm vague but I'm in shock that my Gardner has now disappeared and I can't get in touch with him any more, and I'm also in shock that lawn enforcement discriminated against me by telling me first they won't help me because I'm blind and they want someone else they can talk to and not every blind person these days lives with someone many of us are independent, and then they discriminated against me again by telling me we won't help you because you're on your own and you can't take photos I mean what the hell? I also need to let you know that the quote apparently closes automatically within seven days although the other quotes I closed were because people didn't respond except one who wasn't interested! I hope you can help me next month at least please? Location: South Morang, VICJob Description: my name is Tiffy I'm totally blind hearing-impaired I live in a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor in South Morang in an owners corporation lot, but because my lot is an individual lot the Gardner who comes on site to do the gardening on the communal lots including driveways etc can't and won't help me clear my combined yard of foliage and take it away including pulling out the foliage right to the back of the fenceline so that it doesn't grow until 12 months time, and I had a Gardner who did this very thing for me for 2 years from 2022 until 2024 and he was excellent and he was very reasonable in price, however yesterday I went to contact him and he has disconnected his phone number so now I'm having to look for someone else to help me and I can only do 19 November as that is when I'm financially free as I have an electricity bill to cover next week and the fortnight after that on 5 November I've got a rubbish removal company coming to get rid of rubbish and they will cost a bit so that's why I'm having to choose you on 19 November! I only got 1 quote from wylies evergreen yesterday when I posted this job and he said that he needs to see the area because even though I selected the measurements in terms of how small the area is , because I'm totally blind I actually don't know how small it is and I live on my own so I don't have anyone to help me measure , but the gentleman from that particular business said he wanted to come today and inspect it , we agreed to a time , 5 minutes before he was due to come he then messages me to tell me he can't make it that he has something he needs to do and could he come on Sunday, I initially agree to that but then he messages me that's why you can do it, I then asked him to explain what that comment meant but he didn't, so then I had to close the job because I didn't get any other quotes and this gentleman didn't seem willing, so when I apologised to him and said that I'm going to need to find someone else who can help me because this garden is becoming dangerous as it's really difficult to get to my gate because the foliage in the front part of the yard is hanging over the edge so much that I nearly tripped over it, and when I went around the back of the yard as it's combined I noticed by feeling it that it's creeping towards the sua pipe although it hasn't completely touched it yet but it's about to! I am on a disability support blind pension so I can't spend in the high hundreds 300 is the maximum I could probably do but if you need to inspect the site please let me know and if possible keep to that time, and if you can't help me please recommend someone who can and will! It's best to pay using pay ID and that's where you pay using a mobile number through CommBank or a bank that except pay ID because it's easier and quicker for me, I also need someone I can understand when they're speaking to me because I'm also hearing impaired, I'm not on the NDIS and don't wish to discuss the NDIS thanks to trauma I had with them years ago, I also need the cobwebs cleared as well because I don't have a PowerPoint outside and my vacuum cleaner won't reach beyond my hot water system in particular where the Aircon unit is and that gets covered in a hell of a lot of cobwebs, and the outside of my bedroom window will also need clearing of cobwebs because again I can't get to that area as I can't see where I'm going and I think there is also foliage growing there as well, so if you can help me for 19 November I would appreciate it if you could contact me, but I hope I get more quotes so that I'm not left with someone who can't or doesn't want to help me! I had a Gardner Who did an excellent job but I can know longer contact him because either he has gone out of business or his number has changed or both and I don't know the name of his business so I'm desperate for this garden to be cleared of foliage if you can! I'm on a disability support blind pension so I can't pay hundreds of dollars but I could pay you $300 if that is what you needed! My apartment is on the ground floor and is at the back of The complex! I'm not on the NDIS and I don't want to discuss the NDIS but as I said I can pay you on the date that I've selected! It doesn't say however if you need to inspect the site but you'll see what it looks like when you come into my gate, and I would do it sooner except I'm in quite a bit of debt at the moment and I've got junk to get removed the fortnight before you come so that is why I've chosen the specific date because I know I can pay you then! I would prefer that you had pay ID which means I can pay you using your mobile number and it's easier for me as I don't use cash! when you arrive at 3 vangelica way, walk halfway down the driveway, take the footpath to the right, there is a sign that says access to units 2&3 it's pointing directly at my apartment, my apartment is at the back of the complex on the ground floor and my gate is second on the left with 2 tactile markers on handle! Twist the handle to the left to open the gate, walk down small ramp in front yard and text me when you arrive at my front door! These are the directions I'm giving you so you know what to do on the day! I don't actually know what my measurements of my combined yard are but I had to select something because oneflair only has options that you can select by default and because I'm totally blind I can't measure I apologise for that! When you come into the gate please be careful because the foliage is hanging over the edge of the concrete and even when I get to the gate to put rubbish in my bins I have to zigzag so I don't trip over!
