Job Description: Lighting Installation Job Specification I am in the process of purchasing new light fittings for my home and will need them installed once they arrive. The scope of work includes: Dining Room: Move the existing ceiling light and replace it with a pendant light. Kitchen: Replace two ceiling lights with a linear pendant light over the kitchen bench, add 2–3 new recessed downlights, and potentially install under-bench LED strip lighting. Living Room: Remove two ceiling lights and install a single pendant light. Hallway & Stairs: Replace two ceiling lights with one pendant light (stairs) and one ceiling light (hall). Outdoor Deck: Install two new wall lights, replace one standard light with a motion-sensor security spotlight, and add another motion-sensor security light at the back door. Additional Electrical Work: Install a new PowerPoint on the deck and another in the carport. Upgrade to dimmer switches for all new lights. I am still in the process of purchasing the light fittings and expect to have everything ready by the end of May. I am looking for an electrician who can provide an estimate (ROM) for the work and then once I have everything purchased, I will proceed to have a finalised quote and secure a booking for a later date.
