11 Feb 2024Location: Kangaroo Valley, NSWJob Description: Hi there, We're a Canberra-based same-gender couple considering the possibility of a quiet and exclusive elopement in the Morton National Park area of Kangaroo Valley. Specifically, we're looking for a celebrant who would be willing to officiate at the scenic end point of a short, and easily accessible trail. Here is a link with a description and photographs of the trail itself: https://australianhiker.com.au/trails/florence-head-walking-track-nsw-6-3km/ My partner and I have walked this and can confirm it is flat, well maintained and only takes about 40 mins to wander to the lookout. We're hoping to have our elopement around the end of September/start of October when the weather is not too hot and the wild flowers are in bloom, though we are flexible and haven't set a date. As an elopement in a natural setting, we'd only expect to have a short and sweet ceremony, attended by our parents, with the addition of a photographer to capture to event. Happy to discuss additional costs, timing and possibilities.
