Location: Castle Hill, NSWJob Description: And the priority....neighbouring property under building expansion has 1/ Their sewer pipe connected to our bathroom sewer pipe from previous subdivision when apparently, they have their own sewer pipe head on their property 2/ Also from previous subdivision, their storm water pit on their property is connected to our own stormwater pipe and subsequently floods our own storm water pit, as well as damage to our driveway, our garage and concrete slab as well as flooding another neighbouring property. 3/ The retaining wall and fence are collapsing due to recent works next door with scaffold etc and still has no pit or drain or ag pipe to remove excess water from their side of barrier, causing regular flooding and damage on our side pathway, gate and house wall. 4/ Then the is the ongoing issue with Sydney Water and their main sewer pipe through our backyard and property and their ignorance and lack of maintenance and every so often the sewer pipe blocks and spews sewerage into our backyard through their access hole cover...... and after a Sydney Water Emergency Response Team attended and were shocked at what they saw.....and after a lengthy battle using a useless EWON and their use of a sub-contractor......cleaned out the pipe once again but then insisted there were no files, details and no notes to follow up and fix the damage to sunken pavers and area back of garage...... 5/ Finally, and since 2021 and the March storms we had and our roof leaked for the first time since we moved here in 2001, we had the misfortune of employing a local supposed DoFT, Lic'd and Reg'd Roof Restoration Company, of the ..... type who quoted a near 6K sum but then gave us a pensioner discount and cash only payment discount, to reduce the total cost to just under the 5K mark and therefore they knew it would not be contestable and we only found out later through the equally useless Dept of 'un'Fair Trading and the equally useless NCAT who were finally able to make a ruling after 3 failed attempts as the Company in question [using their school aged relatives to do the work] and failed to show up and were always uncontactable. Subsequently, we were told the NCAT were unable to enforce the decision and to refer to the Courts in Parramatta, where the documents have since been lost in their system and we still have a leaking roof in the same spots and the cost to rectify has since increased to 3x what was initially paid due to the repair and restoration of all botched work. We have too many images to add here...... And would prefer to know who we are dealing with.......as trusting anyone in this modern building trade/scam is a nightmare.....and a Hill's Council still insisting that all is ''acceptable'' but when asked ''acceptable'' to whomService needed: Building defects inspection | Stage of process: Ready to hire | Type of structure: Residential | Type of residence: Freestanding house | When: Any time that works - Building Inspector job

The storm water pit on #19A site is illegally plumbed and underground connected into our storm water pipe and not directly plumbed to their kerb from their block pit.... Their toilet sewer pipe from the #19A site is illegally plumbed into our own property guest bathroom sewer pipe...... And finally, the main issue, of the failing boundary retaining wall and moreso since the additional 1st storey floor weight was added to that existing house, with no drainage systems installed on the retaining wall side and Hills Council approved all this......initially and presently. Apparently, these issues are not of Council concern and they dont want to know about it, as all is deemed as ''acceptable'' by Council.
