Location: Redbank Plains, QLDJob Description: Gday! This is a rental property with tennants currently residing and it is managed by a real estate agent. A plumber has taken a look and provided the following advice: Preformed pressure test on shower riser and found it to not hold pressure indicating a leak on shower taps/breech or riser. Inspected shower tray and tiled walls, found sections with grout missing as well as sealer missing in places. Sealed off drain and done a flood test and noted a leak on shower door/screen which leaks and runs into rotten skirting area. I would recommend that the shower be striped out and redone from scratch and suspect the timber within the walls would be rotten and need replacing. Noting there may be some work required on the shared wall of the adjacent room also, is this a job you would be available and interested to do in coming weeks? I can arrange a time with the Realtor for you to access the site to quote.
