  I'd been struggling with my dog, Reggie’s, leash walking for over 18 months. He was well-behaved in every other way, but no matter what techniques I tried, the pulling wouldn’t stop. A friend recommended George, telling me he fixed all of their dog’s issues quickly. When I reached out, George confidently said he’d get Reggie walking nicely in 10 minutes. It sounded unbelievable... but he actually did just that in our first session! Because Reggie was a "tough nut to crack" (George’s words), that first technique eventually wore off. But in our next session and the ones that followed, George adapted his approach, trying different solutions until he identified the root cause: Reggie’s ball obsession. Once we removed the ball, everything changed. He became calmer, more responsive, and took better to the new walking technique. In just four sessions, I now have a dog who walks beautifully anywhere. We’ve explored so many places we couldn’t go before, and our walks are now enjoyable instead of stressful. His response to the come command has even improved, he's heeling better off leash, and he's even learnt a few tricks! George didn’t just fix the problem — he transformed our daily lives. If you’re struggling with training your dog, I can’t recommend George highly enough!

  We met George at our local oval and watched him train his dogs. I've never seen dogs so attentive! Immediately we were drawn to his energy and passion for the animals. After discussing our troubles with our dog pulling on the lead, George was quick to offer advice. Within minutes our dog went from pulling to checking in and following rather than trying to lead the walk. Will be booking in for some more training and looking forward to using the boarding option when we head away on holidays. Thank you George!

  George is a very competent, polite , and knowledgeable young man, in who I have every confidence in training me and my dog. After our first session, I was able able to walk Iggy (36 Kg ) beside me with out any of her previous bad behaviour that included pulling, rearing and trying to chase whatever moved. Our other lesson that included socialization off lead, her first time ever, was equally successful. ( I still need a little more training in this department). I would absolutely encourage anyone with dog issues or even in developing your own confidence with your pet, to train with George, without hesitation.

  George at True Dog Training is a marvel with dogs. My pup at only 14 weeks old is out performing many others thanks to George’s advice. Not only that, he is always on time and a great communicator. Love your work George. I highly recommend him for any doggy behavioural issue at all.
