I’m Silvia, Business Owner of Silvia Cleaning specialising in cleaning & Laundry Linen in Air BnB holiday homes on the Mornington Peninsula. As a self-employed housekeeper for Air BnB , my primary responsibility is to ensure that the properties I manage meet the expectations of their guests. I handle various tasks, including cleaning, laundry,advising on maintenance and supplies, and addressing any damages or concerns related to the homes. I’ve found that using WhatsApp allows us to stay connected, report problems, and avoid unnecessary repetition. Another important aspect of being self-employed is keeping up with cleaning reports, invoices, inventory of supplies and household items, and scheduling to ensure timely completion of tasks. Photography is essential for housekeepers. It allows us to document any property damages or issues, handle guest complaints promptly, and provide protection against misguided information.
