  Joe McKenzie owner of Silver Fern provided us with excellent and professional service. His price was very competitive, and he was also the only person I got quotes from who said what I wanted could be done and he also made many helpful suggestions. Joe always arrived when he said he would, if for some reason he was going to be late or had to change the time, he ALWAYS communicated this. The work he did far exceeded our expectations and at no time did he change the price from the original quote. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Joe for any landscaping or maintenance work to anyone.

  Yes i am insured and i do guarantee my work because i believe that my work is carried out to the highest level and i stand by it.

• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  i was in Canada on a working holiday and got a job with a large commercial landscaping company , laying turf installing roof gardens etc and really liked being outside(couldn't sit in a office) .I really enjoyed the satisfaction i got from seeing a completed job and knowing i had a part in that. So when i arrived in Australia i got on the phone to local landscapers and got myself a job with a local firm. Part of the deal was i would start my tafe course for landscape and construction that year, and 5 years later i have my own small company mayself and when i have too much on i subby in other landscapers i have met along my journeys.
