  Do not use – Unreliable and Poor Quality Work. We hired Masterpiece Painting & Decorating for a full internal painting and door installation job, but the experience was a disaster. The quality of work was well below standard, with visible imperfections, incomplete sections, and poor preparation. They did not prep the work surface properly, left the site unsafe, and failed to complete the work on time. An independent inspector confirmed that major rectifications were needed to bring the work up to an acceptable level. The quote was changed on several occasions, claiming that they forgot to add the charge of something, they also demanded a 20% deposit and then a progress payment on the first day. Despite agreeing to return for touch-ups and to complete the work, this did not happen. Our numbers were blocked, and we could not contact them. To resolve this we tried to correspond with him to resolve the issue, but he resorted to threats. This has caused us significant inconvenience and extra costs, and we cannot move back into our home until we engage licensed professionals to rectify and complete the works. We have lodged the issue with NCAT in the hope of resolving the matter. We strongly advise against hiring Masterpiece Painting & Decorating.

  Kevin cleaned and painted our driveway & pergola area, I found that he is very skilled and professional, finished the job in the time frame I have also found that he is very reasonable in price.   I had this company come out to give me a quote for painting my house internal and external. After I received the quote, I was asked straight away for a 20% deposit legally by fair trading, it is 10% no matter the price of the job I paid this and within 30 minutes, I realised that I should be. getting a second quote, I rang Keyvan back and asked for a refund of the money which he agreed to, but then, after 4 days he declined he said he was at a loss , he also refused to return the product and receipt, and I've had to go to the tribunal to get my money back. No I would not recommend this company at all they would harass me and bully me said he knew that I had quotes, which were dearer. They still wanted to come on-site, They don't have approval for GST, there's no licence number that is listed only an ABN number, The tribunal ordered my deposit to be returned immediately and still ten days later nothing. Do not use them.
