  Rita has been an amazing trainer, walker and carer for my border collie Ralph, she started off training him 2 weeks after we got him and we could see the results immediately and her walks with him have worked wonders for him to stop pulling on walks, she also recently looked after him for 2 weeks while i was overseas and she took wonderful care of him and made me feel very comfortable with daily updates and videos of my dog, I recommend her to anyone

  If you’re considering a great dog trainer I HIGHLY recommend Rita, the name behind the amazing trainer who runs k9 steps, an affordable and effective dog training company. In just 1 session my GSD learnt manners and skills that he previously struggled to obey. My dog loved Rita instantly and we will definitely be booking her in again in the future for training walks to decrease reactivity. Thankyou Rita.

  Rii is awesome with our BIG boy Winston a big Golden Retriever. He is always excited to see her and she is amazing with him. She has really helped with his pulling and he is so much better walking and not as playful when seeing other dogs on walks. Our daughter can easily walk him now. Highly recommend 😊

  K9 steps have been nothing but amazing for our rescue pup. From our first session with K9 steps we noticed so much progress and improvement with our pup with his reactivity towards other dogs and lead walking. My partner and I would recommend k9 steps to anyone looking for a training to guide you into becoming supportive dog owners! You are in safe hands!!

• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  My passion for animals led me to a career as a vet nurse, where I've been working for over seven years. Being a vet nurse gave me invaluable experience with animal behavior, health, and care, which deepened my interest in helping dogs on a more personal level. I also spent time as a dog walker, which allowed me to interact with different dogs and understand their unique personalities. Combining these experiences inspired me to start K9 STEPS, where I can focus on training and behavior to help dogs and their owners build stronger, happier relationships.
