How did you decide to get into your line of work?

James liked working outdoors and his uncle's mate had an apprenticeship in Roof Tiling going. Jimmy has worked his way up, completed his apprenticeship, started his own business and now runs his own company that employs 16 tradespeople.

What do you like most about your job?

James the Director has been roofing since he was 16. He has always loved the outdoors and enjoys turning tired houses into lovely homes with beautiful roofs.  Not all roofs needs to be pulled up and reroofed, that's a salesman's technique. Some of the most beautiful roofs are those that have been restored. You will be able to tell the dodgy tradespeople as they wont be able to produce any documentation to prove their skills.  You know when someone is QBCC Licenced that they have been through a full disclosure process to gain their licence and therefore are reputable and backed by the Qld Government.  Google the company you are getting quotes from - see if you can find any customer recommendations or complaints about them - its always good to see what other consumers think

We also have a exchange program with an International Roofing company DJR Roofing to train up one of their tradesman in Australian standards!  QBCC Licenced # 1277034  James our Director is dual qualified in Roof Plumbing and Roof Tiling making him one of the most qualified Roofers in Queensland.  He also holds tickets in Working at Heights, Elevated Platforms, Boom and Scissor Lift and Senior First Aid.
