  Our dog Drax is a rescue dog and needed to be socialised and develop lead etiquette. John helped us tremendously with these tasks. He provided great advise to gain the skills to be a loving leader for our dog using kind but firm methods. John took a genuine interest in Drax and showed us that his methods and knowledge was real. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending John and know that if you follow his advice you will get the results you desire. Drax is a happy and contented dog who we can take anywhere with us, including visiting dog parks - Thank you so much John.

  Hi Vanessa , thankyou so much for taking the time to leave me a great review, I really do appreciate it especially in these busy times , it was an absolute pleasure working with you , he was quite a difficult case, however I did feel very confident that if you followed my suggestions you would get the results you were after, and you did , Drax is a great and stunning looking dog even though he had a bad start to life, I think he has won the lottery being rehomed by you & Brenton, I think especially Brenton was pleased, as his last sentence to me that he never thought we would get the results at 1st and it was money well spent especially when he saw Drax playing with other dogs, from a dog that didn't want to leave the house except to go out for a wee break. and it will only get better as long as you continue to implement the plan I set for you, cheers John Vella, Canine Wise

She had a lot of anxiety and over-excitement early on, but your consistency and commitment made all the difference.   John was recommended to me by a friend who had completed his puppy school in 2019, and as soon as I’d read through the website I contacted him straight away to help my three chihuahua’s behavioural issues. His help has been absolutely priceless. Over four sessions he helped me learn about the best ways to combat their worrying behaviour and gave me extremely helpful tips and activities to practice and to help manage them. He taught both me and them, and helped me become a better dog parent. Not only has their behaviour changed drastically for the better, John also recommended making some changes to their diet. Thanks to John my three babies are happier and healthier. I cannot recommend him enough, and already have to multiple people. If I ever get another dog I will 100% be booking in to John’s puppy school as well. Thank you so much again John!

  John’s Puppy preschool class was great. Having the opportunity to let our puppy’s socialise off leash with other dogs seemed to be really beneficial for my shy dogs. I would definitely recommend this class, especially to those who are first time pet owners. Thanks Again John 😁

  Hi Aaron & Danielle, thank you so much for the review , I’m so glad you were able to bring your 2 hansom boys to puppy school , they were very shy at 1st, however as each week went by they really came out of their shells and got along really well with all the other pups, and this is a very common thing that happens when you get the correct information and apply it to your training as you have done, they’re 2 great little guys keep up the great work.

• Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

  Yes, I have the correct Public Liability insurance. When it come to Guaranteeing Dog training you need to run a mile if someone offers a guarantee. Dog training is not like fixing a toaster, sometimes the owner needs to change & have an input, rather look at a persons experience, have they just done a short course & now call themselves a Dog trainer, & also I am not just a dog trainer I specialize in helping & curing problems.

• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  I had a wayward dog that no one could fix except the "Dog Whisperer" John Richardson, who the trained me and I worked with him for over 16 years
