They charged me $1500 to get my timing belt and steering wheel belt changed on a Suburu Impreza 2007 They took my car for three days and I kept calling to find out when I could get it back. They never followed up with me, I had to call constantly to find out when I would get my car back. the receptionist always sounded suprised when I called, offered a weak apology on the last day of me calling to get my car. Expensive and bad customer service. The work they did though, the car sounds and runs better. But I guess time will tell. repliedCannon Motors25 Oct 2022

The lack of communication was due to a new staff member in the office that had just started that same week so she was struggling to find her feet at that time, however I can assure you that she is well prepared and ready for not only yourself but every other customer. Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value Extremely disappointed with the service I received. In December I took my work vehicle to Canon motors due to mechanical issues. The workmanship was not satisfactory and the time frame was around 2 months due to excuse after excuse. They sent it to a diesel mechanic as they couldn’t find the problem at first and I was charged for that also. Once I paid over $5000 for the work carried out I drove 2 km’s before the engine started making noises. I had it towed back again and then charged another $177.00 for oil and an additive only to drive about 400 metres and an even louder rattle and noises coming from the engine. Ended up getting it towed home as I was scared for them to touch it again. Got 2 other mechanics to look at the ute and both said that Canon motors had mis diagnosed my ute (these were Hilux specialists also) and I had to get a new engine fitted. I contacted Hari to see if he would reimburse me some of the money as I shouldn’t have paid to repair my existing engine. My message was ignored as usual. While my ute was at Canon motors I was told they had checked certain things on the engine only to find those item had not been checked. My experience here has put me off going to mechanics as I was sick of the lies. I am sure they will deny my claims but I have all the proof I need and tried to get this resolved before leaving this review as I am a business owner also and kept telling Hari and reception that this was a work vehicle but did not seem to care. I caught them out lying on more than one occasion. As the old saying goes, a good liar needs a good memory.
