DON'T USE THESE GUYS EVER!! ! I asked them to quote on fuel injectors for our daughters car as our mechanic didn't do that work...I got a quote, took it in..... Was supposed to be a three day job....I had to keep calling them every couple of days....they said after two plus weeks that they replaced the injectors but it was still making the noises....they then told me it was the fuel pump.....took another three weeks to replace it, with me ringing every few days.....and even then it was STILL making the noises......They then said they were having their supplier look at it as they thought it was faulty parts......two weeks later with me AGAIN having to follow up with them every couple of days they said they wanted our daughter to come in and listen to it it so they could show her how it was less noisy! I went instead to pick it up and they wouldn't give me the car back until they had put the old parts back in, even though they had told me these parts were faulty! Fleur Again a misunderstanding with your daughter’s vehicle will be explained to you. Your daughter Kassandra was provided a free loan car. You were not out of pocket over this issue. I have spoken with the VACC and they have confirmed that our procedures are 100% correct and that we have actually gone above what our commitments are in this case. Lets Start Again !! YOU !! Had the vehicle diagnosed at another workshop. YOU !! Booked the vehicle in from an Auto Guru Quote. WE !! where never asked to diagnose the issue. We ordered parts and booked the vehicle in to have the injectors replace. A FREE LOAN CAR WAS PROVIDED TO YOUR DAUGHTER !! Injectors where replaced and noise still evident in engine. I have confirmed with VACC that this is what we were contracted to do and you should have been charged for the injector replacement. Upon YOUR Approval the fuel pump was replaced at an agreed amount. Yes Noise still evident. We did our best to resolve the issue for you and would have about 50hrs of OUR Labour time invested in this vehicle. The vehicle was returned to you with the original parts in the vehicle. You have no right (confirmed by VACC) to have your car returned with our parts still fitted to vehicle. YOU are not out of pocket and your duaghter was provided a free loan car We have already addressed and explained the lack of communication with you. Your constant gaslighting and disrespect to our staff. Whom where going through a family death and medical issues at the time, should not be tolerated by any individual or business. Very poor communication, we had to call back each time we were told by Cannon that THEY would call us. Car was held for 7 weeks with no solution ... had to request car back to take to real mechanic for general cars. Poor service with no support. repliedCannon Motors31 Jul 2024
Hi Andrew Thank you for your feed back. Just to follow up, on this misunderstanding . We replyed to an Auto Guru Quote Reguest to replace fuel injectors, not diagnosed by us and no diagnosis requested by you. First contact was a text to confirm we have afterpay facilities. Vehicle was dropped off to our workshop and free loan car was provided to you. Free loan car was also provided to Kassandra for the entre time your vehicle was at our workshop. Knocking Noise was found in engine, beleived to be combustion noise and that was reason for customer request to replace injectors. Issue Diagonosed by another workshop. Injectors replace and same noise in engine still existed. You were informed at this point and requested our diagnosis. Issue believed to fuel pump and quotes were sent. At this point due to some staff personal reasons, communication from us to you failed, and vehicle was delayed being looked at. Fuel Pump was replaced, however noise still evident in engine. Another set of injectors was installed, bleed and coded, same issue still evident. You then requested car returned to you to seek second option. We removed all our parts and refitted all the original parts back into the vehicle. You were not charged for anything and free loan car was provided to you the entire time your vehicle was here Kind Regards Cannon MotorsD C
