How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I wanted to be a carpenter when I left school. I was then offered an apprenticeship as a painter. so now have been doing this for over 27 years.  8 years ago I did my trade as a carpenter.

I enjoy my works everyday. Everyday is a different day I love the competivness, the stories I'm told of other tradesmen and doing my best to win the job. Many of stages to my job before I even win a job.

Its not about the questions asked. Its about the reviews of one, if they feel comfortable talking with that tradesmen on phone in person at quoting. Recommendations and word of mouth go a long way.

We strive on quality over quantity, we are reliable respectful, polite and turn up when we say we will. We clean and tidy and clean up everyday after ourselves.

Have lots of experience in all areas of works very knowledgeable on the know how, and have and only use quality tradesmen on my job sites. If there standards are not up to my standards there is no position in my team for them.  Any transformation is a good transformation.

Condition of area painted, how much repairs are needed, is the problem fixed or do we need to fix and repair. More information on the job the better we can work the price.

There are many of ways to save money before we start, ie have all repairs done to your standards before we arrive, painting of a volume instead of 1 or 2 rooms over time.
