  Beware of Mark Hakai Mafi. We regretted hired Hakai Mafi tree lopper who is a con artist. We informed him that we couldn't perform the tree-lopping task during the workdays, but he disregarded our advice and carried out the task anyway without permission. The first warning sign. The tree stump was only partially removed; a portion of it protruded, posing a trip and fall risk to the family. Another warning sign. We agreed on additional $200 to cut down 1 more tree at the front. He promised to come back saying he needed to get his equipment but never showed up for the tree removal, even though he promised to return tomorrow. Finally, didn't answer my call or return my message. Took the cash and fled. He also blocked my phone number. We are very frustrated. And unhappy with this kind of unprofessional service.
