  We engaged Ahmad to complete renovations to our main bathroom, ensuite, powder room, laundry and outdoor patio tiling. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. From early in the project, punctuality and communication were ongoing concerns. Ahmad frequently arrived late or failed to attend without notice. When we followed up, we were provided with various excuses, which were so extravagant that it made it hard to believe anything Ahmad said. Ahmad represented himself as having extensive experience in bathroom renovations and stated that he had a team working with him. However, it quickly became apparent that neither of these claims reflected the reality of the situation. The quality of workmanship has left us needing to engage another tradesperson to rectify multiple issues. For example, a mirror was installed crooked and sealed into place, making removal and correction more complex and costly. Several tiled areas require repair, the laundry tap installation needs fixing, and overall the finish across the project is untidy and below an acceptable standard. Despite having a clear payment agreement in place, Ahmad repeatedly requested additional funds. When we advised that no further payments would be made until the identified issues were rectified, communication ceased entirely and we have not heard from him since. We are sharing our experience so others can make an informed decision. Based on the issues we encountered with reliability, workmanship and communication, we would strongly caution anyone considering engaging Ahmad for renovation work.
