We are fully insured through Lloyds. Our certificate of currency is displayed on our website at https://brisbanetrees.com.au/documents . We have $10 million public liability insurance. We also have a workcover policy in good standing to cover our staff.

Being an arborist is a joy for me because I can combine physical activity in the outdoors with the challenge of learning all I can about a science-based field. Arboriculture is in an exciting period of development and it's great to be involved in its progression.

The first question you should ask anyone quoting on tree services is whether they are an arborist. David is an ISA certified arborist, having studied, been tested and being committed to honouring his professional society's code of ethics.

Customers often ask us to identify their trees. We can usually offer the genus and often the species of your trees. It's important because different trees respond differently to treatment. Customers also ask how they can save money, and I'd say the best way is to have us service your trees as we don't just lop trees that will be a future expense, rather we train them to be the trees you want.

Our service guarantee, pledged on our website, is that we will either answer all phone calls or return all messages on the same day they are left. We also guarantee to respond to all email and website enquiries within 24 hours.

We attempt to repair trees that have been damaged by 'tree loppers' trimming them improperly in the past. Incorrect techniques often result in loss of structural integrity and even grow back faster, frustrating homeowners trying to control their trees.

When we visit your home to inspect your trees and give you your free quote we will collect a soil sample and email you a soil report.   Soil solution pH provides valuable insight into the soil nutrients available to your trees and plants. It's the first step in improving your soil's health and diagnosing any issues with your trees' and plants' growth conditions.

We operate efficiently, and that means lower prices for you. The time an arborist takes to remove or trim a tree is entirely dependant on their skill. We spend the time training and money on equipment so you can spend less on us.

We offer a firm quote that we stick to, unless the customer changes the scope of the job. The quote is in writing so there are no surprises. We even accept payment by Paypal so you can use your credit card.

We remove dangerous, fallen, undesirable and weed trees and palms; prune trees and palms to modern arboricultural standards. We can also grind out stumps and can even replace your weed tree with an Australian native.

Having studied units in soil science and horticulture at university was a great background for me to become an arborist. I have since studied and completed certification with the ISA and continue my education on a daily basis.  I was honoured to be the founding arborist of the Brisbane Poinciana Group, and continue to be involved in the fight to save Brisbane's heritage poincianas. We specialise in all Brisbane heritage ornamentals and natives.
