Location: Greensborough, VICJob Description: Hi, a couple years ago I had to re do my pavers around one of my front trees. i have two Pyrus calleryana Cleveland Select Ornamental Pear trees at the front of my house. When I relayed and recemented the pavers i had to clean the residual cement with part acid and part water. i believe the problem i have now is when i washed the acid off, it flowed into the trees garden bed and believe it has stressed the tree out. i was told to give it powerfeed every 2 to 4 weeks. The leaves on the tree on the right hand side are much smaller leaves and not as dense compared to the healthier tree on the left during last spring. It doesn't look its going to look any different this spring going by the attached pictures. The tree with the light pole in front of it is the healthier tree. My dilemma is is that i really don't want to pull out the tree and replace it with a mature tree and was wondering if an arborist can provide advice on how to bring the tree back to its original state ? If anyone out there has had a similar issue i would be keen to know if your successful and if you were how did you get around it ? i would really appreciate your feedback those with experience in this field.
