      Job Description: my name is Tiffy I'm totally blind hearing-impaired I live on my own in a 1 bedroom apartment on the ground floor at the back of the complex and I've got a couple of issues that I need assistance with but one of them is very complicated which I'll get to in a minute! First of all however I need some internal door hinges oiled! I need my bedroom door oiled again because it clicks occasionally as I had it oiled last year when it was really squeaky, my walk in wardrobe I need oiled as well in terms of the door hinge, and The cupboard doors in my European laundry need oiling as well in terms of the hinges! but now however I have another complicated situation which I'm not sure if you can help me with, but I'll explain what happened in January 20 23 until now and tell me if you can help me or not! Just so you know as well I am on a disability support blind pension and so far the renovations to my bathroom have cost me hundreds so I don't have a lot of money at the moment, and I also have an electricity bill to put in money towards so I'm not sure what you charge and you will need to come out here to see these issues before quoting me and I'm hoping Vinny might be able to help me because I've heard of him a lot on oneflair and he sounds like he knows his stuff so I hope he can help me! In January 2023 although I didn't know it at the time, but the water leak started on the top shelf of my then vanity basin which I have now got removed! The leak started on the top shelf and it was one of those vanities that had a mixer tap! It was the original vanity as well as the fittings that were on it at the time, and because leaks start at the back there was no way to know what was actually going on, nor did I know about it until October 2023 when I went to get my toothbrush off the top shelf and I always put it slightly forward from the edge not directly on the edge but just forward enough that I can feel for it but not close to the edge so it falls off! I then noticed a smell of rotting wood but at the time I didn't recognise it for what it was! 10 years ago my friend howie Who was like a father figure to me and I were staying in an apartment complex called Graceland's, and I think we were packing our stuff ready to leave! As I was reaching up the back to make sure that everything I had was gone I then noticed that there was a leak starting right at the back the same spot that my league started 10 years later! I told howie that I found a leak on the top shelf of the basin although I don't know if he told the manager at the time because we left a day after! When I discovered this leak in my apartment as I said I didn't understand what was going on because I had forgotten when I last encountered a leak and obviously not being a plumber I'm not trained to recognise this type of issue! 12 months went by and I was still trying to figure out where the leak was coming from, but by this time it had gone down to the bottom shelf and had soaked the whole vanity to the point where mould was starting to come into my bathroom and although I didn't know what was behind the wall if it was ceramic or plaster, I was starting to get sick with breathing issues such as wheezing and coughing and the coughing was worse than I normally have! 18 October 2024 I then got a knock at the door from areal International and the agent introduced herself, but I slammed the door in her face initially because I wasn't sure how to identify if she was an agent as I can't see, and this was 6:15 pm at night so I didn't know if I was being scanned!
