17 Mar 2026Location: St Ives, NSWJob Description: I need a handyman to reattach a small timber access door under a balcony. The door has come off due to rotted/soft timber around the hinge area. Ive already attempted to repair it by filling/bogging the damaged timber and have purchased new hinges, but Im unable to reattach it as the screws wont hold properly in the frame. What needs to be done: Reattach the door securely to the frame Drill new pilot holes (I dont have a drill) Reinforce or repair the timber where hinges attach (may need timber plugs, filler, or repositioning hinges) Ensure the door opens/closes properly and sits flush Notes: Door + new hinges are on site Timber frame may need minor reinforcement due to previous rot Access is easy, ground level outdoor area Looking for someone experienced with small carpentry/handyman jobs who can bring the right tools and fix it properly in one visit.Project type: General handyman hire, or multiple jobs | Type of work: Repairs | Work focus: Doors or flyscreens | Estimated time needed: Hour or two | Property type: House | When: As soon as possible - Handyman job
