As part of this process, we need to upgrade the railings on two balconies to comply with the current building code and strata safety regulations. The balconies currently have low railings, and we need to bring them into compliance with the NSW Building Code. Specifically, we are looking for a solution that ensures: The railings are at least 1 meter high. The materials used are compliant with safety standards. The solution is cost-effective, as we are working within a budget for the strata conversion. We are considering various materials, such as toughened glass panels, powder-coated steel/aluminium vertical bars, or any other compliant and affordable options you might recommend.
