Job Description: JOB SUMMARY - Install a PoE camera system, including NVR and Doorbell Camera. - Replace existing smoke detectors - Install a security flood light over the driveway - Fixed damaged lighting wiring. JOB DETAILS INSTALL POE SECURITY CAMERA SYSTEM We have a 2 storey house, with 4 existing B&W analog cameras at each corner of the house. There is a small 19 server rack mounted in the garage. There is CAT5E running from the rack in the garage to each of the 4 analog cameras, which was used for power to the cameras, as well as the transporting the analog video signal. All of these cables will be re-used, and need to be terminated with RJ45 so they can be used for PoE. The old cameras need to be removed, and the new cameras installed. The NVR will be installed into the 19 rack in the garage. In addition to replacing the 4 existing cameras, 2 new cameras will be installed, One is a security camera in the garage, and the other is a doorbell. PoE needs to be run to each of these. See pictures for the existing camera positions Note 1: The cameras are around 6 or 7 metres off the ground. Note 2: We have already purchased all of the cameras and NVR REPLACE EXISTING SMOKE DETECTORS When our house was built, in 2000, 3 smoke detectors were installed with mains wiring. We would like to upgrade these units with more modern units. We have not purchased replacement units, and are open to recommendations INSTALL A SECURITY FLOODLIGHT OVER DRIVEWAY We currently have a small solar/battery powered light over the driveway, but we would like to replace this with a permainant, wired-in solution. We have not purchased a replacement unit, and are open to recommendations. The replacement would need to be a smart product, preferrably Zigbee, so that it can be integrated into home automation FIX DAMAGED WIRING I recently took down one of the lights mounted in the ceiling in one of the upstairs rooms, and found that there was a dodgy connection on the terminal block within the light. This has caused the end of the wiring going to the light to become like charcoal, it just crumbles as soon as you touch it. I need to get the final section of that wiring replaced. I can only see the final 20cm of the cable, but I would guess that 2 or 3 metres of wiring needs to be replaced. There is very good access to the roof space for this job.
