Gina weaves magic into ceremonies. She made our wedding ceremony absolutely beautiful – full of lovely and funny stories about us and our families. Out guests were all laughing and crying throughout the ceremony and many of them asked us afterwards how she did it. Gina was incredibly thorough and professional, and provided invaluable advice to help us plan our day. She spent almost two hours with us on our first meeting, explaining the process and asking how we met and what we loved most about each other. She then gave us a folder of different options for all the sections of the ceremony for us to choose from or write our own. Then she wrote up our first ceremony draft including our stories, and worked with us generously and patiently as we edited and refined it together. Gina really does have a way with words. She dedicated many hours to creating the perfect ceremony for us, and we couldn’t have imagined how wonderful it would be. You really do want a good celebrant at your wedding, someone you can gel with, who can set the mood for your special occasion. We found that in Shannon - she is approachable, makes you feel at ease, witty, and genuinely interested in you as individuals and as a couple. We were attracted first by the style of her website and can say that the vibe there, is the vibe you get. Really professional, yet relaxed, she can combine the serious bits with humour and grace. From our first meeting we were impressed that Shannon genuinely ‘got’ us, and at the wedding she perfectly reflected our personalities and story in her carefully crafted and emotive words.
