Yes we are insured and we are a registered business with the Queensland Building Construction Committee (QBCC) also members of SPASA ( Swimming Pool And Spa Assoc.)

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

John ( the owner) worked in Perth initially when he was young at Perth Out door Centre. When he moved to Queensland he was hired by a company to 'clean pools' he learnt the ropes and decided to open his own business. He then decided to move into pool renovations and is now in great demand.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

A lot of people go through the agonizing decision of whether to demolish their pools or refurbish them. We strongly suggest to refurbish. You would be surprised just how much it does cost to demolish. You have to de register pool, work under strict council guidelines and have it certified off.

What do you like most about your job?

It is always a joy to be able to refurbish a swimming pool and make it look like brand new again.  A pool should be a joy to own not a chore and it should enhance your backyard not be an eyesore.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Accepted Answer

Are they insured? Are they registered with QBCC. Do they have the experience and how long have they been doing renovations? What product do they use - there are a lot of inferior finishes that will break down very quickly again. We advise and stress to people NOT TO RE USE  Marble Lite / Sheen.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Costing.  Pool renovations can be expensive but it must be done correctly or otherwise you will be down the same track very soon again. Some people say that it cost them almost that much to build the pool initially but they are forgetting how long ago that was. We can make it look NEW AGAIN

We have been in the industry for over 43 years now. We have won awards for our renovations in Queensland and Nationally through SPASA.  We have alot of experience in this line of work and we do not cut corners or do patch up jobs. We take pride in our work hence why we are still around today.

We are an award winning company. We have won many awards through SPASA Queensland. In 2014 we won GOLD for Queensland and Silver Nationally for renovations to swimming pools under $25,000 We are a family business that takes pride in their work and strive to help people achieve a trouble free pool.

There are quite a lot of questions actually.  Name / contact numbers/ How old is the existing pool? What are your concerns, What do you have in mind?  Is there a budgetary figure to work to?

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

We can view a lot of the issues  you are having with the pool via photos through the email system. This can give you an idea of what type of renovation is needed or what we can offer, and maybe answer other questions you  may have.

We pride ourselves in doing Quality work . We do not do inferior work just to win jobs so we may not be the cheapest in town but we like to walk away from our work with pride.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We normally charge a service call to come to site and view your requirements.(this covers fuel, workers time, admin etc) but  IF we are successful with job we normally deduct this fee from the final cost of work for you.

We specialize in bringing old pools back to life, but most importantly getting swimming pools trouble free for the owners so that they are a pleasure to own and not a chore.
