Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We are insured for $10,000,000 for our public liability. We also have indemnity insurance. All our work is guaranteed, all electrical materials we provide a minimum 12 month warranty unless the materials state a greater warranty. All workmanship is guaranteed for up to 7 years.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

As a child my parents would buy me those Dick Smith Electronics kits which i started building when i was around the age of 7, after I completed Yr12 and partially completed a Computer Science degree I decided to follow something I was truly passionate in. I haven't looked back since.

I was called out to a busy cafe in the city due to a major failure at the switchboard, I remember the cafe was jam packed full of hungry patrons, the chefs were very anxious along with the owner and managers in getting their customers attended to, everyone was basically relying on me rectifying this major fault asap. One can only imagine the pressure I was faced with, what seemed like a few hours was just short of 20 minutes when I was able to safely enable all the critical sysems within the cafe. Everyone was releaved especially myself.

Having a clear decision on what you require for your job will make our job easier and possibly save you charged out time. Creating a clean, clear & safe working environment in the areas which we will be on the worksite will most certainly save the client money. Ensuring all the work has been explained and possible materials required to give us a base understanding, less surprises within the job the greater chance of savings.

Our pricing is competitive once looked at the overall cost of a job, for example our rate is charged only for the works not for packing up equipment etc. We review our pricing on a regular basis and maintain an honest clear cut rate. How do you normally charge for your service?

We charge a standard hourly business charge out rate which is calculated in 15 minute blocks, this rate is based on our business overheads into one simple rate. We don't charge for fuel or travel expenses as this is all factored and averaged into the charge out rate. Higher rates apply for on the spot call outs and also emergency callouts.
