  I saw some of the bad reviews of others I had received cheap quotes from and I was happy STM's communication so I decided to go with them. I was so happy with the job! Sam was on time, very friendly and really knew what he was talking about. The price was comparable with others I've had in the past - but he managed to get stains out that had been there for years. The extra treatment he recommended was magic! I won't use another company again and I've already had my mum booked in with him.

  Sam did a great job on my sofas and chair. He worked really hard to ensure I had the best possible result and the upholstery came up like new after 15 years without a clean. Better still, he cleaned up really well after himself so the place looked spotless. Could not recommend him more highly.

• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  I started by working for one of the dodgiest in the business. I saw how badly he was ripping people off, the terrible cleaning service he provided by barely trained staff, the poor customer service skills of the staff and even the owner- sleezing onto customers and even stealing! During my time under his employment I saw complaint after complaint roll in with his customers starting to demand me instead of his other employees. I was already a great carpet cleaner but I wanted to know how to fix other problems- specific stains, damaged carpets etc. So I quit and went to work and train under undoubtedly the best in Perth before I was confident to compete with my own business.
